Ronnie's Run - 5k Jingle Bell Run

Ronnie's Run was founded in 2015 to honor Ronnie, a compassionate and determined St. Petersburg College student who died on December 10, 2014, just one semester short of his bachelor's degree. After the family lost his sister Sharon, a Registered Nurse, mother, and grandmother, to liver failure on March 22, 2026, the event was revived to honor them both and remember all lives lost to addiction and alcoholism. The Ronnie's Run 5K Run/Walk aims to bring awareness, education, hope, and resources to people struggling with addiction and their families, reminding them that help is available and recovery is possible. Grounded in faith in Jesus Christ, the family shares their story so that every participant helps support recovery and keeps Ronnie's and Sharon's legacy making a difference.
