Small city park on the Tampa Bay side of north Anna Maria Island, near the historic City Pier
Anna Maria Bayfront Park is a small city park on the north end of Anna Maria Island, facing Tampa Bay rather than the Gulf of Mexico.
People use it for picnics, wading, wildlife spotting and sunset views over the bay.
Anna Maria Island is reached by bridge from Bradenton, including the Cortez Bridge and the Manatee Avenue (SR 64) route, and the park is on the island's northern end along Bay Boulevard. A free island trolley runs the length of the island with the City Pier area as its northern turnaround.
