Anna Maria Island - Bean Point Beach

Residential northern tip of Anna Maria Island with open Gulf and bay views and hazardous currents

Bean Point is the northern tip of Anna Maria Island, where the Gulf of Mexico meets the mouth of Tampa Bay.

The city posts permanent signs warning of dangerous currents and no lifeguards, so most people stay out of the water and walk the shoreline.
