Pasco's county-seat town with a historic courthouse square, antique-lined downtown and kumquat heritage
Dade City is the county seat of Pasco County, in the rural east side of the county, roughly northeast of Tampa.
Visitors come for the small-town historic downtown, the Pioneer Florida Museum and Village, and events around the courthouse, most famously the annual Kumquat Festival.
From Interstate 75 take Exit 285 onto State Road 52 east, which now runs on the Dade City bypass to US 98/301 on the south side of town. US 98/301 passes through the city, and downtown is compact enough to walk once parked.
