Suburban East Hillsborough community with a 1915 theater and neighborhood parks
Valrico is an unincorporated community in east-central Hillsborough County, about 14 miles east of Tampa along State Road 60.
The one standout historic building is the James McCabe Theater, built in 1915 as the Valrico Civic Club's home.
State Road 60 is the main road, running east from Brandon and about 14 miles from Tampa, and Bloomingdale Avenue is the main cross route. I-75 is a short drive west near Brandon; most trips are by car.
