Quiet old-Florida island community beside Terra Ceia Bay and the Skyway's south end
Terra Ceia is a small, low-density community on Terra Ceia Island in Manatee County, just north of Palmetto and just south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
Visitors mostly come for the water.
Bayshore Drive branches west from US 19 just north of Palmetto, and I-275 and US 19 meet near the south end of the Sunshine Skyway. The island is small and rural, so plan on driving.
